The full terms
Terms of use, in six parts
01
What this tool actually is
AML.legal is a free, informational wallet risk-screening tool — a number built on the method described in full on the methodology page, and a reason for it. That's the whole product. It's a first read, not a verdict.
Say it plainer
We're not a compliance provider, a law firm, or your exchange's risk team. "Low risk" here doesn't mean an exchange has to accept your deposit, and it isn't something you can wave at a frozen-account ticket and expect to work on its own.
02
No warranty — we mean it
The tool is provided "as is," free of charge, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. Plainly: we built this carefully, and we still won't promise it's right. On-chain risk shifts by the hour — a wallet that scores clean today might touch something ugly tomorrow, and the reverse happens too. Treat the score as a starting point, not a verdict.
03
Not legal or financial advice
If money that actually matters to you is on the line — a frozen account, a regulator's letter, a transfer you can't afford to lose — talk to a person whose job that is. This tool doesn't have a bar number or a license, and it isn't going to pretend otherwise.
04
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, AML.legal and its operators aren't liable for losses tied to relying on this tool's results — frozen funds, rejected transfers, risk it missed, any of it. Plainly: that's the deal with a free tool. No invoice, no liability either.
05
Acceptable use
- Don't use this to hunt down who's behind an address — that's not what it's for.
- Don't script it into a bulk scraper. It's built for one person checking one wallet, not a farm.
- Don't pass a "Low risk" screenshot off as Chainalysis's opinion. It's ours, and it says so.

If the tool or these terms change
The scoring changes as the underlying risk patterns do. When it does, this page changes with it — same day, not eventually. Dated entries for every change are kept in the change log, and data handling is covered in the privacy policy.
